Pursuit of Purpose

I think I was put on this earth

To eat blueberries and sit in the sun

listen to 2000s music and 

do things my parents hate

love too hard and 

dance even harder 

pet puppies and drink lattes, I don't like 

And pretend to enjoy things uncomfortably.   

I think life is about re-binging your favorite series 

And late night froyo runs

that last breath before

putting things in the past for peace 

time, and time again 

Life is about living 

Nothing more, nothing less. 

but life cannot be alive 

without your presence
